Meet the founder of Ultimate food tours

I started Ultimate Food Tours in 2019 as a way to show people my favorite activity, eating my way through New York City’s coolest neighborhoods, meeting cool people, and learning about their history. What started as one Chinatown tour has grown to six New York Food Tours and four Cooking Classes. My favorite part of running Ultimate Food Tours is meeting new people. I have met amazing restaurant owners and workers, guests, and guides and love introducing them to you!

My background is in tech and marketing and while I had a great time in the corporate world, I am really enjoying helping people eat their way through New York City. For more information on me or on our NYC food tours, Tours, feel free to shoot me an email. Thanks for reading this far and we’re looking forward to showing you New York City through our amazing food tours.

FAQ About our NYC Food Tours

  • The best food tour in NYC is the Chinatown Food Tour by Ultimate Food Tours because it features the most food of any Chinatown Food Tour and offers the most exclusive access to the neighborhood. On the food tour, guests will be introduced to China’s eight regional cuisines and eat at many of them. Guests will learn about the history of Chinatown, the people who live there, and the history of the food. We are friends with all of the owners, giving guests an exclusive opportunity to meet the people who make Manhattan’s Chinatown the best neighborhood in the world.

  • All of our food tours stop at ONLY locally owned establishments. These are not touristy places so when you book an Ultimate Food Tour, you can be assured that you will eat where the locals eat.

  • A food tour guide is a specially-trained tour guide who provides guests with the information they expect from a walking tour and makes sure the food is ready in a timely manner. It is a very hard position since it combines elements of guiding guests throughout specific neighborhoods, being able to present a vast variety of knowledge about specialized topics, and serving customers with the timing of a waiter. It is a challenging position that is very hard to obtain at Ultimate Food Tours, so you can rest assured that any guide that you have is one of the best guides in New York City.

  • To become a food tour guide, you need a NYC Sightseeing Guide license and experience leading tours. We are always looking for talented folks to join the team so if you are interested, please send us an email.
